Congressman Rodney Alexander stated to the North Atlantic Business and Industry Alliance on Monday, August 24, 2010 that he was there to talk about the things Congress is doing that impacts business positively and negatively. “I don’t really know of anything positive”, he said. This is the same script you are hearing from all Republicans. This strategy has been rehearsed by Vitter, Alexander and the entire Republican delegation. The words of President Dwight D. Eisenhower must be made loud and clear to the American people. “A people that value its privileges above its principles soon lose both.” These Republicans do not represent the Grand Ole Party that I love and cherish. The Grand Ole Party has always yielded to the call of America’s future. This is Washington Politics as usual. The Rhinos were in control along with a Republican President and neither Health Care Insurance Reform, nor Tort Reform was passed. These are the same no vision politicians who President Obama owes his election win. The Bush Tax Cuts, like the Obama Stimulus Package, was irresponsible. Businesses understand that you do not give 2.8 trillion dollars in tax cuts and not cut the federal budget by 2.8 trillion dollars because this will lead to large deficits in the future. Instead, under Rhino Republicans, we had the largest expansion of government since 1974. There were only 3 million jobs created in eight years. That is a meager 338,000 jobs per year, which equals to 7,500 jobs a year for each state. Where were the jobs? Where are they now? The Bush Tax Cuts and the Obama Stimulus Package are prime examples of both parties playing Santa Clause. They were both passed with borrowed money and created large deficits.
Businesses will not spend nor invest money unless there is a demand and that is why they are holding their large sums of cash. They are waiting on politicians to start being statesmen and that means putting America first. Freedom and prosperity is never more than one generation away. Americans want leaders that make them feel like Americans again. It is time to get back to basics. Businesses want congress to address entitlements (Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security) which is over 60% of the Federal Budget.
Eliminate the Department of Education and place control of education back to the local level. Earned Income Tax Credit is given to individuals who pay very little or no taxes but receive large refunds. Spousal refusal whereby Medicare in part created the condition that have led couples to take drastic measures to divorcing a spouse so they do not lose their entire savings when needing Long Term Care. Washington must address these important issues.
We must create 3 million jobs for the jobless rate to drop one percentage point. It will be 2015 or 2016 before America’s jobless rate drops below 6%.
Less taxes and less government must be authored by real statesmen and not politicians. Everyone must make sacrifices. Yes, I can understand it. An intelligent plan of action is the key to gaining the trust of businesses throughout America.
The Grand Ole Party will rise again and so will our great Republic. A vision of America’s future is in its history.

Road to Recovery
My plan for America will not be popular but it will address the problems that we face as a nation. Everyone must make a sacrifice on the "Road to Recovery". My plan for action calls for a 15-20% across the board cut in federal programs. The military must be excluded! Our national security must never be jeopardized. Keeping America strong will be my number one priority.
I have been a longtime advocate of abolishing the Department of Education and other agencies that have lost their usefulness. We must integrate agencies and the duplication of services must end. Federal employees must be retrained in areas of government where there is a high rate of fraud. The Medicare program has over 40-50 billion dollars a year in fraud. Government procedures must be examined line by line and revamped. We must eliminate the process by which we pay $1200 for a $250 wheelchair. This is bad business and it must be stopped!
Entitlements must be addressed immediately. We must scale back on eligibility for these programs. Social security was strictly intended as a retirement program for working men and women who paid into the system. Over the years, the bureaucrats have expanded the eligibility requirements until individuals who have never contributed can receive benefits. We cannot afford this practice any longer.
It is wrong for Americans who have paid into the Medicare system and yet are told in order to receive long term care, they must liquidate all their assets or spouses must divorce their lifetime partners. This is a direct attack on the institution of marriage that has been ordained by God. Marriage is strictly between a man and a woman. Middle Class Americans should have the right to pass on their wealth to their children and grandchildren. This practice must end! Neither Democrats nor Republicans have addressed this issue.
Earned Income Credit cost American taxpayers over 12-13 billion dollars in fraud alone. We will save approximately 130 billion dollars in fraud in the next 10 years by eliminating the Earned Income Tax Credit. This program allows individuals who pay little or no taxes to receive large refunds. This is not an an American value! I will introduce a bill to eliminate the Earned Income Tax Credit. We must give Middle Class Families who earn up to $175,000 an additional $10,000 standard deduction.
I am the only candidate that has explained to the American public how we must set our financial house in order. I have the vision to lead and the courage to stand by my convictions. My plan will work. The only way to less taxes and less government is to simply cut the fat from the budget. America needs a "Slim Fast" diet! I welcome debates that address the issues and not the rhetoric. It is time for true leadership in America. I have the resolve and the political will to stand up and to make these unpopular choices. The days of government playing "Santa Claus" is over! Those who see the future will lead. Those who do not will follow. I have a plan of action.
I will be glad to speak to any organization to explain my positions. Let's Take Our Country Back!

Typical Career Politician
David Vitter's voting record is often cited as a reason for the people of Louisiana to keep this convenient voting politician in office. This sounds like politics as usual in Louisiana. Remember the cliche' "the more things change, the more they stay the same"? This attitude is embedded in our society. We tell our athletes the same - as long as you are winning, brush aside the lack of moral character. A vote for David Vitter only strengthens the liberal agenda in America.
We have a health care bill and an immigration bill that is about to be pushed through Congress because of "convenient conservatives" like David Vitter. This is the same person that cited himself as being a Conservative reformist, family values candidate who exploited his own family to promote himself. Vitter cares only about his retirement, Rolls Royce health care plan that we the taxpayers are paying for. David Vitter is a rubber stamp for special interests.
Louisiana cannot afford six more years of David Vitter. You, the voter need to remind Vitter that it is time for him to give up his "perks" and make sacrifices like the rest of America.
Yes Vitter, there are many small business owners who cannot afford health insurance for themselves nor their employees or have you conveniently forgotten?
It is time to send someone to Washington who is a "True Conservative" with a P.O.A - Plan of Action. David Vitter has neither.

Courage
Courage will keep us consistent with the values we truly believe in. The Republican Party lost control for this very reason. We did not hold Republicans accountable when we were in control of Congress and the White House. There are tough decisions that must be acted upon and this will require courage. The next Senator must have the political will to make tough and unpopular choices. Vitter has shown himself to lack leadership and only follows the status quo.
He has consistently been a "Johnny Come Lately" on the issues. He was late on the census, the economy, Tort Reform and recently on BP. David Vitter does not posses the courage that is needed to address the issues of Louisiana nor America.
Senator Vitter has no P.O.A - plan of action on how to achieve less government and less taxes. Entitlements must be addressed and no one has mentioned Earned Income Credit whereby more than 45% of Americans pay no taxes. The Department of Education needs to be abolished. How can states continue to fund federal mandates? Large corporations must be held accountable. Tax loopholes must go! Offshore accounts must be addressed and no more rewards for companies that ship jobs overseas.
As your next senator, I will take a "push and pull" attitude to Washington. For those individuals who have rode the wagon too long, we are going to push them off. It is time for those individuals to pull their own way. The ride is over!

BP Oil Spill
David Vitter wrote President Obama requesting low interest loans for businesses effected by the oil spill. He should have requested direct funds from BP. How will they pay these loans back when some of these business owners already have loans? Mr Vitter needs to call BP out but I can assure you, he will not. Senator Vitter has received nearly $800,000.00 from the oil and gas lobbyists. President Obama and David Vitter have a lot more in common than Senator Vitter is willing to admit. President Obama has convenient conservatives like David to thank for his election. A vote for David Vitter only strengthens the liberal movement in America.

Taking Back Our Country
Standing up for the future of America must be our number one priority in these crucial times.
Moments like these will define our history and courage inspires us to be a part of that history that will make a difference. The Republican Party must return to its core values. Our historical values has always been for lower taxes, less government, strong military, state rights and a belief that all rights are given by Almighty God. We need a Senator who will carry these values including the values of the people of Louisiana to Washington. There must be a common sense approach to solve the complex problems of our nation. Democrats and Republicans are both responsible for the collapse of our economy. Wall Street and the large banks have been bailed out with your tax dollars while Main Street has been left to defend for themselves.
I believe in the human spirit and the determination of the people of Louisiana like yourself. You are needed in this effort to help "Take Our Country Back". Character is born out of adversity, strength out of weakness; hope out of despair but there is always light in the midst of darkness! These are the values and the history of the Grand Ole Party.
In order for the Republican Party to lead again, its vision of a strong and prosperous America must be reborn. Our children and grandchildren's future is in jeopardy and we must send someone to Washington who will put their concerns above his or her own. We must not leave our future generations financially bankrupt but to leave them morally bankrupt is a sure recipe for disaster.
The carpetbaggers from Washington want you to believe that family values do not matter in Louisiana and that we should vote party or individual over our values. The people of Louisiana must send a strong message to the country that our values will not be dictated to us!
As your next Senator, I will stand on the steps of our capital and offer a "New Contract with America". I will tell America that the Republican Party has been reborn and is ready for duty!
We will lead America once again!
